KATHLEEN LIGOCKI is the CEO of Harvest Power, Inc. She joined the company in January 2014 from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, where she worked as an Operating Partner with the firm’s greentech ventures on strategic challenges, scaling operations and commercialization. Kathleen has served as chief executive officer of a Fortune 1000 auto supplier, Tower Automotive, and two early-stage companies — Next Autoworks Co., an American car company with a unique low-cost business model; and GS Motors, a Mexico City-based auto retailer owned by Grupo Salinas, a large Mexican conglomerate. Earlier in her career, she served as a corporate officer with Ford Motor Company and worked for United Technologies and General Motors. She has lived in both Europe and Mexico and has led operations in North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, Russia, China, Korea, Japan, India and Thailand. Kathleen currently serves as a director of Lear Corporation, a Fortune 200 global auto supplier. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Indiana University, an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and honorary doctorates from Central Michigan University and Indiana University. Kathleen serves on the board of Indiana University Foundation and is an active volunteer in various community organizations that support women and children.

CHRISTIAN G. KASPER is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Harvest Power, Inc. Before joining the Company in May 2014, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Princeton Review, Inc. Chris has served as a strategic CFO for three companies where he partnered with leading private equity and venture capital firms including Bain Capital Ventures, Thomas H. Lee Partners, and Aurora Capital Group. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of International Cookware Group, S.A.S. Chris began his career with the Boston Consulting Group, and his experience spans a variety of industries, including consumer products, retail, manufacturing, and education. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Chris received his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was named a Baker Scholar and appointed a Dean’s Research Fellow in Technology and Operations Management. Outside of the office, Chris is involved in a number of civic and volunteer organizations, and pursues his passions for beekeeping, squash, and trophy striped bass. He lives with his wife and two sons in Lincoln, MA.

DAVID HITCHCOCK is Harvest’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations. In 2008, David retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel from the US Marine Corps. An F/A-18 Hornet pilot, his career spanned a variety of functional responsibilities, including operations, aircraft maintenance, training, strategic planning, logistics, and culminated with squadron command. Assignments included tours in Asia, Europe, the Pentagon, and combat service in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Since leaving active duty, David has held leadership positions in two early-stage clean technology companies. Most recently with Virent, a biofuels and biochemicals company, he established their Washington, DC office and was responsible for government affairs, external relations, marketing, and domestic and international business development efforts. Prior to Virent, David was an executive with Next Autoworks where he led the company’s plant site selection team as well as governmental affairs efforts at federal, state and local levels. Additionally, he supervised operational planning for Next’s first manufacturing facility and led their public relations and human resource management functions. David holds a BS from the Naval Academy and a MA from the Naval War College.

STEVE LIFFERS is Harvest’s Senior Vice President of Consumer Products. Steve has been active in the North American lawn and garden industry for over 30 years. He has held Senior Leadership roles in a number of dynamic consumer products companies including Coastal Supply Company, Earthgro and Harmony Products. He is recognized as a leader, expert and early adopter in the organic, natural and sustainable products marketplace. Steve earned a B.A. from Lehigh University and currently serves as the President of the Mulch and Soil Council, the industry association for soil and mulch producers throughout North America.

BRANDON MOFFATT is Harvest’s Senior Vice President of Energy. Brandon has extensive management and technical experience in the environmental, waste and renewable energy sectors. He leads project execution with a background in corporate/project development including engineering design, permitting, commercial negotiations, feedstock procurement and corporate/project finance. Brandon has an MBA from the Odette School of Business and holds a B.ASc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

JAMES REPENNING is the Senior Vice President of Organics East for Harvest. He oversees operations in Connecticut (formerly known as GreenCycle). Jamie has worked in the organics management industry since 1996 with a focus on operational efficiency, innovation and business development. He has experience in finance overseas and has his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

SAM MONACO is the Senior Vice President, Organics West for Harvest Power. Joining Harvest in 2011, Sam is responsible for new business development, setting strategy and key decision making for Harvest’s operations in California, the Western U.S. and Western Canada. Prior to Harvest, Sam worked at Synagro where he was responsible for key strategy and sales development and grew the business from $11M annually to $32M managing 7 facilities including the largest CASP facility in California. Sam has 20 years of experience in the composting industry and founded Earthwise Organics and Earthwise Trucking, which supplied compost and waste management solutions to clients from the Central Valley and Southern CA. Sam has consulted for various companies within the organics industry.
