Our Business & Services

Roads & Highways :

In recent years, we complete the multiple projects .India has an extensive road network of 3.3 Million kms – the second largest in the world. About 65% of the freight and 80% of the passenger traffic is carried by the roads. No. of vehicles has been growing at an average pace of 10.16% per annum over the last five years. National Highways have a total length of 92,851.07 kms and serve as the arterial road network of the country. National Highways in India constitute 1.7% of the road network but carry 40% of the traffic. The government has planned construction of atleast 25km/day. In line with its vision for emphasis on infrastructure development in the country, policy reforms for acquisition of land for highway construction is in process. These efforts will bring growth in the Highway infrastructure development.

Development Project :

National highway Development Project (NHDP) through host of funding options including from external multilateral agencies is being implemented by NHAI. Work mainly comprises of strengthening and four laning of high density corridors around 13146 kms comprising of 5846 kms Golden Quadrilateral connecting four metros viz. Delhi-Kolkata-Chennai-Mumbai and 7300 kms of “North-South-east-west corridors. North-South corridor connects Srinagar (Kashmir) to Kanyakumari (Tamilnadu) and East-West corridor connects Silchar (Assam) to Porbandar (Gujrat). A well-developed network of world class highways is must for India poised to surge ahead.

Operations & maintenance is the other important segment in the highway construction and development. Our highways/expressways constitute only about 2% of the length of all roads, they carry about 40 % of the road traffic which highlights scope of the Operations & maintenance in Highway construction.

The Government of India has launched major initiatives to upgrade and strengthen National Highways through various phases of the National Highways Development Project (NHDP). NHDP is one of the largest road development programmes to be undertaken by a le authority in the world and involves widening, upgrading and rehabilitation of about 54,000 km, entailing an estimated investment of more than Rs. 3,00,000 Crores

Established in 2014, Nirmal Sand and Infra previously known as Royal Sand & Infra which is 10 years old company and NSAI have carved a niche for itself in the construction business by successfully executing the Civil Construction works on Manpower Deployment Basis and Unit Rate Basis.

Multinational Construction COMPANY

We Multinational Construction COMPANY has been associated with construction of Federal Projects, Traditional Structures, Institutional Buildings, Commercial Centers

Preconstruction Services :

We work with the owner and the design team in the early phase of drawings, to provide value engineering and suggestions for siting, constructability, budget and scheduling. Within our Preconstruction services, we act as a value-added member of the design team, enhancing the design segment of the job by providing accurate pricing information and marrying the budget to the actual design.

By incorporating items such as sustainability and maintenance costs into our design review, our suggestions can often save the owner money well into the future. Our pre-construction team works to reduce the overall project cost by saving time, labor and expenses. The result is a building designed to the owner's specifications, within budget and with no surprises.

General Contractor :

As a General Contractor, our services begin with pricing. We bid out the job in predetermined packages, and verify the validity of the bids using our extensive cost histories. During actual construction, we manage the day to day activity on the job, including safety, quality control and adherence to the schedule. We also provide bonding for the project and hold all subcontractor contracts, unless instructed to do otherwise by the owner. We have the ability to self-perform many aspects of our work, giving us greater control over the schedule and allowing us to truly drive the project.

Construction Manager :

Our Construction Management (CM) team is closely involved in the planning and design phase and typically joins the project at the same time as the architect. We provide input on constructability, budget, and schedule, which reduces costs. During the construction phase, our full-time supervision team is on-site, monitoring work to assure compliance with specifications, budget and schedule.

Our CM team also acts as a liaison to the owner providing the on-going status of the project, producing monthly progress reports which detail the status of the job from start to finish.

We are familiar with all of the project delivery types, including:

CM-at-Risk

CM Agency

Design Build

Single Prime

Multi Prim

Design Builder :

Our expertise also extends to Design-Build Construction. After first examining the specifications of the owner, we team with a design firm that has extensive experience in similar projects. This Design-Build team then acts as a cohesive unit with the designer developing the building's specifications, while we perform the constructability review.
During construction, our Design-Build team then acts as the single source of information for all design and construction issues. This creates a more effective line of communication between everyone involved with the project, which leads to a more successful project delivery system.

Strategic Partner :

As a Strategic Construction Partner, we operate as an extension of our client's own staff, overseeing both project construction and facilities management. Within this role, we create a "construction program" in which we manage design review, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, safety, and security, as well as any other client requested items. This project delivery method is best suited for an organization with multiple projects or facilities because it provides a consistent, measurable program through every phase of the construction process which can be extended to any location or facility.

Building Information Modeling :

Shook’s culture is one of collaboration and cooperation. This culture provides us with the ability to listen to our clients, subcontractors and vendors in an effort to discover the best means possible to provide the team with an outstanding construction experience. This ability to listen enables us to maintain successful working relationships with clients, subcontractors and vendors while implementing cutting-edge technology on our projects.

One such innovation is the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Our team has extensive project experience and clearly understands the value that BIM can add to the outcome of a project. Our team’s expertise will benefit the project’s planning and construction management process - from the pre-bid phase through the commissioning phase. This is accomplished by executing a properly guided team approach and by harvesting and transforming the data embedded in BIM models into valuable information. BIM can be utilized through the full life cycle of a project:

Planning:

Automated Quantity take-offs in which whatever limited information is available is fed into the model, assumptions are then made to generate the model and then quantities (and therefore pricing) can be extracted from the model.

Design:

Visualization for the owner to picture their future project, giving them the ability to make decisions early Laser Scan Surveying (renovations, poor or no as-builts)
Design Estimating – efficient quantity take-offs that can then be applied to cost histories, allowing the value engineering process to begin early if necessary
Clash Detection of different systems, allowing the team to fix field issues before they reach the field

Construction:

Field Layout – planning, site logistics, visualize building footprint relative to the overall site landscape
Field Visualization – think pre-fab, an image of a virtual rack and then the rack as built in the field
Trade Coordination – in field clash detection, conflict resolution
Scheduling – sequencing, trade coordination, visualization of the progress of the job
Shop Drawing – no potential for information lost in translation because models of designer and contractors “talk to each other.” (design to construction translation)
O + M Manuals – again no opportunity for information lost in translation because model of contractor and facility’s maintenance “talk to each other.” (construction to maintenance translation)

Facilities Management:

Tying the BIM Model into a CAFM (computer aided facilities management system) for the ongoing operations and maintenance of the facility.
