Scale Office and Site Entrance
In and out, in and out, trucks arriving and leaving the site signal a cycle of materials.On the “inbound,” trucks with organic materials such as food scraps and yard trimmings drop off their loads from participating local neighborhoods.On the “outbound,” trucks loaded with compost, soil blends and mulches deliver nutrient-rich soil products to local farms, gardens and retail stores. /> <strong

Energy Garden Entrance
The entrance of Harvest’s Energy Garden boasts native landscaping and a striking Visitors’ Centre designed by a premier local architecture firm. /> <strong

Visitors’ Centre
Open to the public in the Spring of 2013, guests will be able to look down on the tipping hall and see where the action happens: organic materials getting tipped onto the floor, processed, and loaded into the percolator tunnels. The conference tables built from 122-year-old reclaimed Doug Fir lumber by a local woodworking artisan. /> <strong
